History
In the mid-1980s, Vincent Hübner became one of the founding partners of the corporate finance and private equity activity of Matuschka Group. At the time, it was the first independent finance group in Germany to introduce services and products from the Anglo-Saxon financial culture, which are by now so common in Germany. In the early 1990s, he founded Hübner Finance, which was renamed Hübner Schlösser & Cie by the middle of the decade after Joachim Schlösser joined. He, too, had originally been an executive at Matuschka Group and then a managing director of Corporate Finance at Price Waterhouse in Frankfurt.
Hübner Schlösser & Cie have since completed over 110 transactions with a volume of over € 17 billion. And its circle of partners and employees has grown considerably, as has its network of customers, references and contacts. Nevertheless, Hübner Schlösser & Cie is persevering in its strategy of offering specialized, high-quality, personal service within the framework of a firm that is small and manageable.
