Negotiation includes first time contact and communication to the buyer or seller, to identify the key issues to be resolved, to test the transaction partner´s acceptance level or resistance line, to create trust within the transaction partner by open and straight-forward communication, to take advantage of "windows of opportunity" during negotiations in order to secure best possible terms and conditions; if beneficial to our client, to tie down the negotiation results as best as possible in a Letter-of-Intent (LOI), to settle and structure the key points of the purchase agreement, and to determine the process and timetable until closing.
